Almost everybody in this industry advertises repair. Far fewer actually do it.
What usually happens is this: you drop your machine off, it goes in a box, and it ships to a regional service center you'll never see. Nobody at the counter knows what's wrong with it. Nobody there can tell you when it's coming back. Three to five weeks is normal, and that's if a part doesn't have to be ordered.
We've never done it that way! Every machine that comes through our door is repaired in our shop, by us. Warranty repairs included — we don't box those up either. If you want to know how your repair is going, you can call and talk to the person holding your machine.
That is the entire reason our turnaround is 5 to 10 days instead of a month.
Fifty-three years of machines through this shop. Three generations of the same family at the bench. We didn't have to sell it to you to fix it.
*Bought it somewhere else? Inherited it? Found it at an estate sale? Bring it in.
Sewing machines — Mechanical, computerized, vintage. Any brand.
Quilting machines & longarms — Including Handi Quilter, in-shop and on-site.
Sergers & embroidery machines — Timing, tension, threading systems, hooks.
Vacuums — Uprights, canisters, cordless, backpack, commercial.
Floor scrubbers — Commercial walk-behinds and hybrids.
We're a certified service center for every brand we sell — Handi Quilter, Brother, Janome, Riccar, Miele, Lindhaus and Windsor. That means warranty repairs are done here, on our bench, by our own technicians, with your coverage fully intact.
This is the part most people don't expect. Warranty work is exactly what shops normally ship out, because they aren't certified to touch it. So the repair that should be the easiest ends up being the slowest.
Not here. Same bench, same people, same 5 to 10 days.
And if you bought the machine from us,
you never have to figure out who to call. It's the same phone number you've always had.

"From the first call they were absolutely amazing. The owner called me back personally, the pricing was so good, and my 20-year-old machine runs perfectly. I won't go anywhere else."

"Absolutely the best in prices, services, and supplies — probably the best anywhere between Chicago and San Francisco. Great customer service, they know their products, and they've always been happy to help a customer save money."

Doing repairs in-house only works if you have the parts in-house. Otherwise you've just moved the waiting from the shipping company to the supplier.
So we stock ours. Belts, bobbin cases, feed dogs, hooks, motors, brush rolls, filters, bags, hoses, cords. Most repairs get finished the same week they're diagnosed because the part is already forty feet from the bench.

No appointment needed. We'll look at it while you're standing there when we can.
We'll email you a discounted shipping label — you're not paying retail freight. It ships back to you the same way. It travels to us and back, and that's it. It doesn't get forwarded anywhere else.
House calls for machines that shouldn't be moved, or when moving them isn't practical. Small fee, and we'll tell you what it is on the phone.
Fastest on machines we sold — we already know their history.
If a part has to be ordered or the repair turns out bigger than it looked, you hear it from us before we do the work. No surprise invoices, and nothing gets done that you didn't approve.
"A machine that's been cleaned, oiled, retimed and properly tensioned doesn't just run — it runs like it did the day it came out of the box. That's the standard we work to. It's why people drive here from three states.
We're not trying to sell you a new machine. If yours can be saved, we'll save it. If it truly can't, we'll tell you that honestly and show you what your options are." - Lynn Webb
That's been the business since 1973.

We serve Northeast Nebraska in person, most of the state for house calls, and reach regularly into southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa.
Everywhere else, mail it in — it still only travels to one place.
Tell us what it's doing — or what it's stopped doing — and we'll tell you what it needs.
